What is the admission procedure?
Please bring your student or alumni ID card from the school you attend. Free admission for students/alumni from Conestoga College, University of Guelph, University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University.

Who can attend the Fair?
Students who are enrolled or possess a post-secondary degree and/or diploma and whose institution is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada or the Association of Canadian Community Colleges can attend the Fair, however must show ID from a post-secondary institution and pay a $40.00 admission fee. Students from Conestoga College, University of Guelph, University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier will be admitted free of charge with their student ID. Students enrolled in private career organizations, career training programs, and preparatory, foundations or other employment readiness programs such as Job Connect are not permitted to attend the Job / Career fair unless they possess a post-secondary degree and / or diploma.

How do I prepare for the Fair?
Pick up an employer guidebook or view employer profiles online. Research the organizations in advance of the Fair so you know who you want to target that day and you can come knowledgeable about the company. Review the "Questions to Ask Representatives" in the front of the Guidebook. Attend a workshop at your Career Services office. Dress to assist with giving the best impression you can. What is the difference between Career Fair and Job Fair?
Career Fair is an opportunity for you to network with employers and learn about career opportunities that may be available to you upon graduation. In addition, many of the employers in attendance are currently recruiting for co-op and internships and permanent or contract positions either immediate or after graduation. At Job Fair, organizations have job opportunities available at the time of the Fair or within six months following the Fair. This Fair can encompass employers hiring for summer, co-op, full-time, part-time, permanent or contract positions.
