How do I prepare for the Fair?

Research the organizations in advance of the Fair so you know whom you want to talk to at the Fair so you can come knowledgeable about the company/organization. You can pick up an employer guidebook in your Career Services office or view employer profiles online or in the app. See the Preparing for the Fair webpage for more preparation tips.

What is the difference between Career Fair and Job Fair?

The focus of Career Fair is on full-time career opportunities for students following graduation and for alumni.  Students who are not in their graduating year also attend Career Fair to learn about organizations and future opportunities which helps them better prepare themselves through course selection and work experiences prior to graduation.

At Job Fair, you will have the opportunity to network with representatives from organizations with job opportunities available at the time of the Fair or within six months following the Fair. Employers recruit for full-time, contract, summer, co-op, and part-time jobs at this Fair.
